Element 22.
The material exception.
Titanium is not an alternative. It is an evolution.
Discover the physics behind the purest surface ever introduced in a kitchen.
Pure material.
Pure performance.
Titanium is physiologically inert. Used for artificial heart valves, it triggers no immune response. In the kitchen, this translates to a total absence of molecular transfer.
The TiO₂ Phenomenon
Upon contact with oxygen, titanium instantly generates a passive oxide layer (TiO₂). This atomic shield makes corrosion impossible.
Extreme Performance
As with jet engine turbine blades, titanium is chosen for its absolute mechanical strength where failure is not an option.
Hexagonal Close-Packed (HCP) Structure.
Titanium's strength does not come from its mass, but from its atomic arrangement. Unlike steel (cubic), titanium crystallizes in a hexagonal close-packed lattice.
This geometry allows exceptional fatigue resistance while maintaining a density 45% lower than steel. It is this structure that prevents the propagation of micro-cracks.
Zero ionic exchange.
Pure taste.
Have you ever tasted a metallic flavor after cutting a lemon or tomato on stainless steel? It is acidic oxidation releasing ferrous ions.
Titanium is completely impervious to acidic attacks from food. It releases no ions, even in contact with the most corrosive citrus fruits. Your food retains 100% of its taste integrity.
A "living" surface that regenerates.
Titanium has a rare property: immediate self-healing. If you scratch the surface microscopically, the bare metal instantly reacts with oxygen in the air (within nanoseconds) to reform its protective TiO₂ layer.
The board does not "wear out," it continuously repairs itself, maintaining an impenetrable bacteriological barrier.
